The group consists of professionals and students who have been following dance as their passion for the past several years. The group includes engineers, nurses, graduate students, undergraduate students and high school students. Big Steppers NL strives to promote and celebrate South Indian traditional and folk-dance forms in Newfoundland and Labrador. We try to create a bold fusion of South Indian and contemporary dance styles, with world dance forms. Our team is 15 dancers strong.
