D-Theatres

D-Theatres is a vibrant group of art enthusiasts from across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Durham Region. Their journey began nearly eight years ago, bringing together individuals who share a profound love for music, dance, storytelling, and cultural expression.

Through their productions, they strive to revive nostalgic memories, celebrate the timeless beauty of Indian cinema, and showcase the richness of cultural traditions. In 2024, they presented the highly appreciated dance musical skit “Naleyanu Thalimangalam,” followed by the captivating “Madhurakinavukal.”

In 2025, D-Theatres had the privilege of performing at Maha Onam, earning heartfelt appreciation from the audience. This success led to performances at Bigg Boss and various other community programs, including representing the community alongside the Consulate General of India.

Their artists come from diverse professions and age groups—ranging from 5 to 72 years old—each contributing unique talents. For their next performance, they will be proudly presenting "Malayali Anu Sir," celebrating art, culture, and community, one performance at a time.
